The Machining Career Path at CACC offers Short Certificates, Long Certificate and an Associate Degree. The Machining Career Path prepares students for entry-level employment in various machining careers. Machining is the art of turning and milling metal stock into items which are used throughout the world.

Emphasis is placed in safety, math, measuring tools, hand and bench tools, blueprint reading, drill press operations, lathe operations, milling operations, layout, grinding operations, computer numerical control (CNC), and tool and die. A wealth of employment opportunities are available for students who successfully complete the Machining Career Path.
