Scholarship Committee
- Scholarships will be awarded by a scholarship committee which will be comprised of faculty from the three (3) campus.
- Scholarship committee will recommend and notify the director if the award is granted.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a music scholarship students must do the following:
- Student’s must make application and have been accepted by the time awards are made.
- All students must take and pass the posted audition process.
- Student must enroll in the awarding ensemble for credit. Should the student enroll and drop the ensemble, the complete award is forfeited.
- Student must have a 2.5 GPA
Audition/Award Process
- Scholarship awards will be made based on the completion of a live audition, student should contact the Director, Ivory Brock at [ibrock@cacc.edu]() to make arrangement for a personal audition or send a YouTube link of their performance, to same email.
- Auditions will usually be held on campus between November and April. Specific audition dates and times will be posted on the website.
- Auditions will be administered by the Fine Arts Faculty. Scholarship deliberations will begin immediately after the final posted audition date.
- The Director will review the results and recommendations and present to the scholarship committee for award distribution.
- Student will receive written notification of award. Student must return the letter of acceptance by post posted deadline on the letter. Awards will not be credited to students account with the written and signed letter of acceptance.
- This award will cover instate tuition and fees up to $3,000 for a maximum of two years of four (4) semesters.

Scholarship Application
- Students must complete the on line Central Alabama Community College
Scholarship Application form which is on line under Fine Arts. Application should be sent to Student Services, 1675 Cherokee Rd. Alexander City, Al. 35010.
Percussion Candidates
- Percussion students that audition and accepted you are required to have the following:
- Personal Stick bag to include one (1) pr. of 5A concert band drum sticks, 1 pr hard mallets for xylophone, 1 pr. soft mallets for xylophone and 1 pr. of medium Tympani mallets.
